Register for the 10th Annual International Women’s Day Luncheon

On March 5th, 2022, the Rotary Club of Langley Central will host their 10th Annual International Women’s Day luncheon, its annual fundraiser celebrating local women of achievement.

This year’s keynote speaker, Phyllis Webstad, is Northern Secwpemc(Shuswap) from the Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation (Canoe Creek Indian Band). Phyllis’ experience as a third-generation Indian residential school survivor moved her to create Orange Shirt Day, held annually on September 30th to publicly recognize the damaging legacy of residential schools and to honour survivors and their families.

The luncheon takes place at the Newlands Golf & Country Club from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (PT).

Tickets are $60 with proceeds going to the Orange Shirt Society. Use the link below to reserve your seat today!

Your registration holds your space. In response to uncertainties presented by Covid-19, the Rotary Club will not collect ticket fees until closer to the date.

If Public Health Orders limit or restrict in-person gatherings at that time, the event will be moved online, same date and time, and all registered participants will be able to attend at no cost.
