On May 4th (7:00 -8:15 a.m), the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise welcomes guest speaker Dr. Dawn Lavell-Harvard to their zoom meeting.
Dr. Lavell-Harvard Ph.D, is Director of the Trent University First Peoples House of Learning and a member of the Wiikwemkoong First Nation, on Manitoulin Island. She is the first Aboriginal Trudeau Scholar, and has worked to advance the rights of Aboriginal women as President of the Ontario Native Women’s Association since 2003.
