HIP welcomes Yves Fecteau as HIP District Co-Ordinator for Rotary District 7790 (Quebec).
Yves retired in 2008 and worked for 23 years in the administration of the Place Laurier Shopping Centre, as Chief Operating Officer.
He joined Rotary in 1977 to 1978 and returned in 1995 serving in many areas since – President (2001-2002), Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Grand Village of St-Nicolas, Quebec(outdoor centre for the disabled), Deputy Governor for District 7790 (2004-2007), District Governor (2008-2009) and District Manager of the Rotary Peace Centre. Currently, he is leader of District 7790 Foundation from 2022 – 2025 and PETS Co-Ordinator. Yves is very proud to follow in his father’s footsteps who also was a District Governor. Yves looks forward to working closely with HIP.
The Rotary Club of Quebec and the Rotary Club of Nanterre awarded him 6 Paul Harris Awards for his many accomplishments.
Yves and his wife Claire enjoy spending time with their children and seven grandchildren along with their love of travel and cycling.
