Suzanne Grouette
Suzanne Grouette is a Business Architect specializing in process optimization and continuous improvement, with experience leading transformation projects around the world. She has spent the past five years with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, where she contributes to strategic change initiatives and serves on the company’s Indigenous Heritage Committee, supporting cultural awareness and organizational learning.
An active and committed Rotarian, Suzanne is passionate about local service projects, particularly those that strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities. She is a past President of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Walkerville and will serve as Secretary/Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) Satellite Club for the 2021–22 year. As a Paul Harris Society member, she continues to champion Rotary’s values of service, inclusion, and community-building.
Suzanne is Métis, and like many families across Canada, hers did not openly discuss their Indigenous identity for much of her life. Through personal research and reconnecting with her ancestral history, she has become a strong advocate for Indigenous rights, cultural understanding, and changing the narrative surrounding Indigenous heritage in Canada. Her lived experience informs both her volunteer work and her commitment to supporting Indigenous voices and leadership.
Beyond Rotary, Suzanne is an active community volunteer and a member of the Council for Women in Technology and the Association of Business Process Management Professionals. Outside of her professional and community roles, she is an avid hockey fan and enjoys spending time on the golf course.
As a member of the Board for HIP, Suzanne brings expertise in organizational transformation, volunteer leadership, and Indigenous advocacy. Her dedication to relationship-building and cultural respect strengthens HIP’s mission to honour Indigenous Peoples, empower Indigenous youth, and build meaningful connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Canada.
