Pat is a retired business leader and long-serving community volunteer whose career and service span more than five decades. After 43 years with Welcome Wagon Ltd., she retired in 2020 as President, CEO, and Chair of the Board, concluding a distinguished career dedicated to community connection, newcomer support, and building relationships that strengthen neighbourhoods across Canada.
A committed Rotarian, Pat was a member of the Rotary Club of Toronto from 2002 to 2021, serving as Club President in 2017–18. During her tenure, she championed local and international initiatives focused on humanitarian service, cultural understanding, and community development. In 2021, she joined the Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park, where she continues her active engagement in Rotary leadership and service across Alberta.
Pat has also been a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1966, contributing to decades of friendship, philanthropy, and community involvement. Her commitment to Calgary’s cultural life includes serving on the Calgary Stampede Promotion Committee, helping celebrate and strengthen one of Canada’s most iconic community traditions through volunteer leadership.
As a member of the HIP Board, Pat brings deep experience in organizational leadership, volunteer mobilization, and community relationship-building. Her lifelong dedication to service strengthens HIP’s mission to honour Indigenous Peoples, support Indigenous youth, and foster meaningful connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Canada.
