Racism in Canada Series: Be Part of the Change

The Rotary Club of Toronto is hosting an online 3-week series of dynamic speakers (January 22, January 29 and February 5 from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. EST) sharing their experiences of racism in Canada and promoting positive paths forward. This is meant to build awareness of and insight into the prevalence and impacts of racism and to stimulate ideas to help be a part of the solution. The series will be presented live on YouTube or you can view after using the links below.

Learn from leaders from the Canadian Israel Jewish Association and Black North Initiative describe systemic racism and unconscious bias and their negative effects on human opportunity and potential.

February 5th: A Call to ActionWhat Can We Do?

Be inspired to act hearing the city’s Economic and Culture Recovery Advisory Group report (including their Anti-Racism and Inclusion recommendations) and learn about an innovative mentorship program for Black youth.
