Linda Mross joins HIP as District Co-Ordinator in the Western Region. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Langley Central and served as president in 2016-2017.

She lives and works as a home stager in the Fraser Region of BC but is from the Nlka’pamux Nation and a member of the Oregon Jack Creek Band. She and her husband have raised their 2 children to respect the traditions of dual family cultures and is extremely proud her daughter is working with the First Nations Health Authority. Linda has worked closely with Indigenous children and families as a Homeschool Coordinator for the Langley School District. Linda says “it is important for our children and the next generation to work towards protecting our Indigenous culture, heritage and land”.

Before the pandemic, she taught Chair Zumba in First Nations communities and local events. The opportunity to come together for a healthy activity followed by sharing stories and a healthy snack means so much and hopes to resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
